ABOUT

Adubofour Foundation exists to create a trusted space where men can understand what they are experiencing, speak without ridicule or judgement, reconnect with purpose and find appropriate support.

Safe Space. Men's Community. Purpose.

Adubofour Foundation was created from a simple conviction: men should not have to carry life alone. Across generations, many men face emotional, family, financial, health and social pressure in silence because they fear judgement, labels or appearing weak.

We are building a different kind of support - welcoming, practical and rooted in human connection. Through public education, Men’s Haven community spaces, mentoring, fatherhood, fitness, skills, purposeful activity and trusted referral pathways, we help men find belonging, regain direction and take the next step.

    Our vision

A society in which every man can find belonging, purpose, friendship and appropriate support without stigma.

    Our mission

To improve men’s mental wellbeing through safe community spaces, meaningful connection, mentoring, purposeful activity, practical opportunity and trusted pathways to professional support.

    What We Are

A men's wellbeing, education, connection and support Foundation.

    What We Are Not

We do not replace doctors, psychologists, counsellors or other qualified professionals. Where specialist support is required, we help men identify and connect with the appropriate services.

Our values
  • Men's Community - genuine connection, mutual support and shared responsibility.
  • Respect - every man is treated with dignity, whatever his background or circumstance.
  • Confidentiality - personal stories are protected within clear safety and legal limits.
  • Accountability - we act responsibly, keep commitments and use resources transparently.
  • Purpose - we help men reconnect with meaning, contribution and forward movement.
  • Growth - we encourage learning, resilience and healthier choices.

  • Our commitment

We will be known not only by what we say about men’s mental health, but by the quality of the spaces we create, the trust we protect, the opportunities we open and the lives we help move forward.

DON’T FORGET TO CHECK IN ON A MAN TODAY.

    Founder’s Foreword

Men are often expected to carry pressure quietly—to provide, protect, solve problems and remain strong, even when they are struggling inside. Many do not need to be labelled or treated as if something is wrong with them. They need somewhere safe to breathe, connect, be heard and find practical support without judgement.

Adubofour Foundation exists to make that space real. We want men to know that speaking up is strength, asking for support is wisdom, and no man should have to carry life alone. Through Men’s Haven, public campaigns, mentoring, family support and trusted professional referrals, we will help men rediscover connection, confidence, purpose and hope.

    Executive Profile

Adubofour Foundation is a Ghana–UK social-impact platform dedicated to improving men’s mental wellbeing through human connection, early support, practical opportunity and stigma-free community. Its approach is deliberately welcoming and non-clinical: men are not treated as problems to be fixed, but as people who deserve belonging, dignity and a trusted place to talk, learn, rebuild and grow.

The Foundation combines public awareness and advocacy with practical programmes in men's community, fatherhood, mentoring, recreation, skills, entrepreneurship and referral to qualified professionals where specialist support is needed. Its flagship initiative, Men’s Haven, is envisioned as a home-like community environment for men aged 18–80, combining friendship and recreation with private conversations, learning, fitness, business support and pathways to help.
The long-term ambition is to establish a recognised network of Men’s Haven centres and community programmes in Ghana and the United Kingdom, supported by responsible partnerships, credible safeguarding, transparent governance and measurable social impact.

      The Need We Address

    • Men frequently experience emotional, financial, family, health and social pressures without a trusted outlet.

    • Cultural expectations can make openness feel like weakness and delay early support.

    • Many men avoid formal mental-health settings because of stigma, fear of labels or uncertainty about where to begin.

    • Isolation, relationship breakdown, unemployment, retirement, fatherhood challenges, grief and business pressure can compound silently.

Families and communities are stronger when men have healthier support systems and practical pathways forward.
